    Adult Engineer goby

I hope your rocks on sitting on the bottom of the tank, and not on the sand. They will knock over your rockwork by digging under it causing it to fallover. Ive heard about tanks ending up on the floor as a result of them digging. EXCELLENT sand mover/sifter which is why its called ENGINEER goby.

Thanks fol.I had seen engineer gobies, but they didn't had line running parallel. This one deffinately moves the sand around, but there is very large, stable rock that he lives under. Never had problems with the shrimp though??? The skunk actually climbs on for a ride once in a while...

I had one that came from a "broken" home. A buddy of mine was woke up in the middle of the night to a crashing sound. He found homes for everything but the goby so I took it. After it started covering corals with sand is when I decided it had to go. I gave to another friend who HAD 180g prior to the goby, and that tank wound up on the floor as well. That buddy had insurance that covered all of that. So now that goby is in a 240 with 6" pavers attached the bottom of some rock pillars that are sitting on the bottom of the tank, so the goby cant dig under them anymore.
