JUst add one and try to make it a smaller one than the one you have left. More chance of them getting along!!

Had an eel with expensive taste too, once he got his tab to about $200 he was gone! Pet store lady didn't want it back because "it would eat her fishies" Even after she assured me she'd take it back if it got to big for a credit. She didn't give me a credit but I took it back when there was a younger clerk working so maybe he got some of "her" fish...but I'm not bitter.

Sorry about your loss, karma to ya.

ive always heard you shouldn't have more than 2 clowns; two will pair up and kill the other one..and if you have two pairs i think they fight as well. Unless they're babies i wouldn't advise keeping more than two

    not exactly correct.

Only time you will see conflict is if there are two females.

You can easily have 3 or more clowns as long as only one of them are a female, and the rest are either males/ and or juvenile (undifferentiated genders). This is due to the ability for juveniles to turn into males, and males to turn into females. Females however cannot turn back to males or juveniles and thus leaves a predicament(sp?) for them and they feel it is necessary to battle it out to determine who is the dominant one.
