Cool, thanks a lot guys. I am looking foward to going, but the last thing I want is to be worried about my corals the whole time I am gone.
I grew up in the bay area and moved here about 3 1/2 years ago. I used to go to the aquarium too. My girlfriend has never been though.
We will be taking the extended behind the scenes tour as well. Its gonna be cool to see the 14 foot tall protein skimmers in action in person ;) I really want to check out that rubber aquarium that they have the white sharks in, too. Plus it's "otter days". Not going to get any more fuzzy and cute than that. There will be lots of pics that I will flood the forum with, dont worry ;)

Be careful of fuzzy and cute. It raises estrogen levels. You will find yourself looking for episodes of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and wondering why she and Sully just don't get together and live out their lives happily.

    All because of otters.

    Cute and fuzzy.

    Dr. Quinn.

LMAO! Whats wrong, I can't like cute and fuzzy? You sir, are the one that apparently knows the actual characters of Dr Quinn ;)
I just make sure to word it differently. Just replace "cute" with "I wouldnt shoot it".

Yeah. I guess I shouldn't have named Sully. And you can like cute and fuzzy, just don't admit it around a bunch of dudes. .......and you still have to claim you would shoot it. .....to be manly.

And wasn't Manly the name of Laura Ingalls Wilder's love interest in Little House on the Prairie?

    I didn't just say that.

I am going to use my chainsaw.......

Have Fun, the Monterey Bay aquarium rocks. Don't forget to go up to the third floor on the kelp forest and see the huge wave makers at work! They had to put a bunch of wires across the top of the water to keep the seagulls from diving into the display tank and eating the fish! I guess they have heard of fish in a barrel before!! :LolLolLol

Thanks Spark!!! Yeah, I have to admit, LHOTP is my guilty pleasure, that which I do not admit to liking but watch any chance I get. Dr. Quinn was my best friend's. He was a man's man tree faller/topper outdoorsman dude. I would catch him watching Dr. Quinn all the time.
