I have some advice. Stop speeding and obey the traffic laws!!!

Sorry, not to be rude, but speeding is dangerous.

I would have taken it to an accident attorney. I know an attorney who will take any ticket and turn it into a cheap $50 parking ticket and charge you $50 for his service. You also get no points, and don't have to take drivers education or whatever classes..

    Good luck!!

In my neck of the woods, minor speeding (< 15 mph)doesn't cause the traffic accidents. Distracted drivers or peopl who aren't paying attention cause the collisions. Here, it's normal and expected to drive 5-10 mph over. At rush hour, 10-15 over is normal unless you're one of those whackos that decides to drive slower than the flow just to piss people off or be different. But then in other parts of this city if you stick even a toe over the limit you're gonna get pulled over. Thankfully in the part I live in, the cops drive right along with us when we're "speeding".

Basically most cops won't waste their time on someone 5-10 mph over the limit, because they know someone going 15+ will be coming soon. Even the speed traffic cameras don't snap your picture unless it's 10+ over the limit.

i speed not bad though, it's usually only 5mph over speed limit, but when on freeways depending on the other cars i like to go 75 80, when the actuall speed limit is 65 , housing track i like to go 30 instead of 25, but i'm extra careful. But usually i just go 5mph over speed limit, and just keep an eye out for cops.

HAH! i wish cops around here were like that. Cause you know with living in a city that for 5 years in a row has been named the safest big city in the U.S. the cops don't really have anything to do so they pull you over for anything. That's why so many people around here hate cops because there's really nothing for them to do.

lol an example, there was a homeless man living behind my house, cops had noticed him, the guy wasn't really doing anything wrong, he cleaned up after himself and all. One night there were 2 cop cars and one cop car truck that had pulled up to him. All 5 policemen stood over him and they were just talking for probably an hour! They didn't do anything to the homeless guy but they took his shopping cart with them. Made the news the next day.

5 cops for one homeless man, shows ya how they have nothing to do.

Dont quote me on this but in PA I believe that code 75 section 3886? states that any mechanical device used for tracking speed is considered unreliable at speeds under 10mph over the limit. In court any violation under 10 over the limit will be thrown out the second you mention this law

Around here, I would be happy if you could go 15 over. Idiots cause traffic backups for miles and stop on ramps before they get on.

Many homeless have either mental or other serious issues preventing them from getting a full time legitimate job, but legally cannot be held without their consent in homes to care for them. If I have change, I typically give to them trying to think of what I would like others to do to me, if I were in the same situation. True, some have drinking problems, etc. but you can typically tell the legit from the boozers.

Sad thing is, folks who used to be middle class homeowners with families are now out begging for change. I've seen quite a lot of that lately. Saddest was a 30ish year old guy asking for food to feed his son in a target parking lot. Not change, food for his son. Sad.
