Hey, so i have a 4x54w over my 90 and it just isnt putting out what i want it to. I ALSO have a Coralife T12 Ballast that runs 2 bulbs. Ive seen some good websites for T12 HO actinic and gorwth bulbs for reef tanks so im going to mount on on either side of my T5 fixture. Anyone see a problem with this?

Couldn't you try it with T8's instead?

No problem with that at all.

Most people who do that restrict it to actinic lighting, since it is the least critical light.

Personally, I run MH, T5, and T12 on my tank.

10KK is OK. What is your current bulb selection?

I meant your T5's. What brand and color or kelvin rating?
