Yeah I felt cool. I had mine all planned out ahead of time & even designed it in a drawing program...added all costs up & everything. Then, um...oh yeah, I couldn't afford it. hahah It think I figured about $1,600.

Can't wait to see this all come together. I'll be following along.:)

Oh & thanks. You can see my build thread in my sig.:)

I ordered my overflow tank from Glass-holes.com.

Anyone have any tips for drilling holes in the tank(other than don't drill tempered glass)

Take your time, don't rush it. Let the bit do all the work. It may take longer than you think. Keep the bit and glass cool with running water. Some people make a dam with plumbers putty to keep a pool of water around the bit. I've also heard oil will work. Make sure you put cardboard or a towel or something inside the tank to catch the cut out holes.
Search YouTube too. There are plenty if videos of people drilling tanks.
    Good luck.

lol, not yet. Still looking into everything.

Well here are some pictures, no leaks, but I am a little concerned, I think I drilled to close to the top and there was only about an inch between the water and the top of the tank. I hope I don't have to worry about over flowing.

That looks just about perfect you want to make the water line just above the trim so you never see it when looking at it.

+1 to that. Nothing peeves me more than people who keep their water line low enough that you can see it through the glass. Ugly as sin.
