The only other thing that I can think of is something or someone is picking at them. A fish, crab, worm? Maybe someone poured something into the tank(kids). Did you have a party recently? Luna

I have two Banggai Cardinals and one skunk cleaner shrimp. The cardinals are not capable of such acts. LOL. the skunk is so friendly, the only thing he'll pick at are my fingernails on the rare chance he gets to see them.

    Party? Nope. I'm antisocial. :)

Somedays my green star polyp just doesn't open. Looks jist like a bumpy pink or purple carpet. I've had the same polyp for about 6 years. If it's still closed for a few days I might worry.;)

Here's a dirty little secret. OK it's not a secret if I tell all. I let my tank go for about 3 years. No water changes, no lamp changes, only RO makeup water. FOR 3 YEARS. When you couldnt see through the front glass the polyps were there along with mushrooms anemones. I'm embarassed about this. I guess I'm saying green polyps are death proof. Now that I'm trying with the tank the polyps are taking over

Luna, she said she would like the tank to go after I dropped $200 + in a new lighting system. I paid her back for her insolence by picking up some calupera and a leather frag!:p
