do you think this is good for my 55 gallon? the problems i was having with the water are all better now. nitrates are at 60 and dropping. ill do a WC right after i order them. this will be in a week or so.

i orderd awhile ago dana isa great guy..igot everything except the scorpeon fish so cant help u with that 1. the starfish are awesome the urchin is cool too.mine was small black body with a slight blue/purle tint to it with yellow spikes.

no. i think im gonna substitute the scorpionfish with a sargassum angler. or i may get both. the angler is gonna have to be QT till i get him on frozen though.

 

angler and scorpion fish will not work together........ The angler needs to be in the tank by itself. They will try to eat anything else in the tank, including a fish bigger then it is resulting in its death. It will try to eat the scorpion and die, either from the toxins or for bitting off more then it can chew. I have read of anglers that ate a bamboo shark that was 12cm long! The angler died from eating it.

I had a scorpion just like the one in the picture.....I loved it. Good fish with great colorations, very red and orange. It got to be fairly big before it jumped

 

Wouldn't the angler pick on the star fish?
