    If you currently have a cyano outbreak I would not start a vodka doseing regimine because the extra carbon source will only feed the bacteria you currently have. I dose vodka and I can tell if my doseing is too high when I begin to have a slight cyano outbreak. I will stop doseing for about a week and do a water change cyano will go away and I will restart at a lower amount.
