Good camera?

    I was lucky enough to have my father buy a new camera. Of course, the first thing I thought was that I would be able to take much better pictures of my tank and share them with you guys. I was wondering if it's a good camera for tank photography or if any one has any experience with it. Thanks a lot.
    He bought a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi w/18-55mm kit

    You'll need to learn how to adjust the white balance and how to work the macro features to get great pics.

    You'll be able to take great pics. That lens doesn't really do macro though. I have the Xti and leave it in auto whitebalance mode. Use ISO 800 or 1600 to get fast shutter speed.
