    Im looking at replacing my stock oydssea pc bulbs..

    want to get 10k or 12k.. for daylight
    and actinics.

    65w STRAIGHT PINS .. (so brands are limited)


    I have narrowed down to a few brands.. I want a good PAR rating if possible..more white and less yellow.. but good growth from my daylights.

    I use uvl 12k. No yellow to them that I can tell.

    I have only used Coralife but to be honest never switched around as PC isn't really worth shopping around for IMO.... It will be phased out in the next couple years for sure. Even Coralife king of PCs is taking supplemental PCs out of their fixtures in favor of T5, and FINALLY have a T5 fixture on the way, after they told me this THREE years ago!!! But it will most likely have a single parabolic reflector....

    Back to the lamps, I guess shop around and get a good price, you will be replacing them close to 2x a year...
