So i dont need the water? And when you move a tank (never done that) does it have to cycle again? This isnt my first saltwater tank i used to have one before but had to sell it when i moved. I had fish and corals all doing great(miss my candy coral).

    UPDATE:

Lighting: Normal floresent like freshwater lighting
Only filter on this tank is a wet/dry filter on the back.
Glass is all scratched up in the front and only in the front which is wierd.
Filters havnt been changed in about 5 months or so. (Afraid to see what it look like)
    No protien skimmer
Fish all look healthy and the live rock has some nice coraline(think its called that)
    Substrate is nasty
No lobster to be found only parts of him <shakes head>
Has some big ol polys though.

She reported having several die offs in the past ....Hmmm i wonder why.
All in all maybe the massive amount of live rock which is more then 40 pounds it worth 500

Not worth the trouble that you will be going through to get it up to speed. Keep looking.

Times are hard man, people are selling anything they can. Check out Ebay, Craigslist, garage sales, LFS usually have a bulletin board selling stuff or your local newspaper. Be patient, the right one will come.

I would offer 200 for it because of what its lacking, you never know. What really works is if you do it in person and bring it up that its all you have, show them the money, then offer to get it out of their house that day.
