    I have started entertaining the idea of getting a controller and found a used one.
    It's a neptune aqua controller III. It is complete with temp probe, brand new lab grade ph probe, dc8, and a wifi receiver. All power adapters and cables are included, except the ethernet cable that connects the wifi to the controller.

    He's asking $250. Sounds like a good deal. He has it on his tank now and is switching to an apex on Monday. What are some things I should look for as far as warning signs to pass on the deal? How much better is the apex?
