Gramps how much energy do you suppose they save over traditional koralia's? I have 2 750's! Can't imagine it would save much????wrong?

 

If were talking just apples to apples on energy, Evolution compaired to the old style, I believe it is significant, and then I'm going to presume that the wavemaker is going to regulate that number even lower, due to non constant running and night time automatic power reduction setting....but again, we will see. I have a Kill-a-watt, watts vs $ converter...I'll be checking that when I get things all set up...next week end.

 

UGG, i'm a home inspector so have 3 of those! plugging them into my tank does not paint a pretty picture!lol! So how long does it take to save $140 in electric? Might start with the controller and then the new pumps just to see the difference!

 

at present, with the T5s and the pumps, powerheads etc..it only cost me about 20.00 a month to run my system...that's JUST electric though...we know the rest of the story ! LOL : )

 

I'm pretty close to that, but like ya said, $20 a month total i'd kill for!lol

 

I wonder.....if a guys like me can get that kinda deal.....im looking for 2 or 4 koralias for a 75 sps tank......
