    Hey guys, I am upgrading from a 46 gallon to a 75 gallon and am in the market for a 250w mh to pair up with my two 150's. I found this one on craigslist, do you all think this is a good deal or should I keep looking?

    That's an awesome deal. Galaxy ballasts are very efficient. So your going to have a 250 and two 150s? That seems a little excessive to me for a 75. How are you going to set them up? You don't want a pendant right over the middle brace as over time, the UV radiation will degrade the plastic until it becomes very brittle and eventually breaks.

    I am going to do the 250 in the middle and the 2 150s on each side. The middle brace is 1/4 inch glass so that is not a concern. Then I will 42w actinics for a total of about 7.89w per gallon.
