I am looking into breeding but I cannot afford a whole other display tank so It would need to go with the following

    29g
    cynaria coral
    zoanthids
    kenya tree coral
    xenia
    rhodactis mushroom
    snails
    hermits
    porcelain crab
    skunk cleaner shrimp
    black ocellaris clownfish
blue mandarin fish (yes my mandarin is fine)
    pink streaked wrasse

the main thing i am bad at is food. i am fine with daily water changes and maintenance but need a fish with somewhat less food demanding larva. I deal with enough picky fish alreadt umph......mandarin

bangaii cardinals. While they are still very difficult to raise the fry, they are mouth brooders vs eggs. Though due to the size of the tank and the other fish in there, I am not sure of the success. You will most likely loose first several broods of fry *which is not uncommon even in the biggest tank with hiding places

    Here is a good article

I highly doubt you will be successful breeding any SW fish in a small tank filled with other fish. Breeding SW fish is NOT for the beginner IMO and doing it without a seperate tank/tanks will be an excercise in futility.

Although I do not have experience from the SW standpoint, I have to agree 100% here from my FW experience with breeding mouthbrooding cichlids. Even if its not eggs getting eaten, its baby fish once released from the mothers mouth that are tasty and nutritious snacks for other fish in the tank including mom

I also would doubt the success of breeding anything in a community tank but if you adamant about found it a mouth brooding fish would be your best bet for getting fry... But would bet the fry wouldn't last too long... You'd need some sort of refuge for the fry... And even then as said before most if not all would eventually perish.

Then you meet the definition of insanity... Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome...

I would have to agree with what everyone is saying above. You need your brood stock to be in their own tank, and then you would need a grow out system depending on what you end up trying to breed. If you decide to go through with this, I can give you some good threads to read.

I do not mean raising the fry in the community tank I just need a fish that will spawn in my 29g. I have bred apistogramma cichlids and brackish puffers. I just mean I want to go into saltwater now that I am done with freshwater
