good fuge lighting

    does anyone have any suggestions for good refugium lighting? i have a 55 gallon fuge with about 75 lbs of lr in it and a powerhead for flow thanks for the help

    Wow I used that setup once. But it will put out a lot of heat and also The flood lights on my house use so much power I put all of them on motion sensors and saved 50$ on my electric bill. The light in my picture is 24$ and 18wats. The Floodlight will do just as good.

    That flood light I linked is a CFL and uses only 23W. It is equivalent to a 90W incandescent, but doesn't get hot at all.
    I think you are thinking about halogen flood lights which do get very hot.

    Aha ok I stand corrected the 23 wats shuld have gave it away. My flood lights are 400wats.
