I also posted this question yesterday and got more picture. Most people said aiptasia and I need to treat with Aptasia X. Wouldn't that be harmful to fish, snails and corals?

To me it looks like an aiptasia. I use Joes Juice and its completely safe for everything. I would assume Aiptasia X is pretty much the same thing, but you might want to wait from others that have used it.

I've heard put lemon juice on a q-tip and touch it to the aipstasia
not sure if that works or not
i would try joes juice or aipstasia x
there is even a review in the reviews section for aipstasia x on here

I have used Aiptasia X and not Joes Juice. ;) I think they are the same. All you need to do is turn off the filters and current for a few minutes until the aiptasia "eats" it, then you are good to go. It comes in a syringe and you target feed it with it. I doesnt take much. If the aiptasia comes back in a couple days, do it again. Its not that big of a deal. Best of luck to ya.

Ive used both Joes juice and aiptasia x, id say the aiptasia x is less messy since its more of a paste. plus aiptasia x comes with a nicer syringe and two detachable heads (one of which is angled for those hard to reach places). Price wise, joes juice is a little cheaper but in the end it really doesnt matter which one you use... they both work.

just make sure if it drips anywhere that you wave your hand and blow it away. It doesnt take alot, so dont fill the needle and shoot it all on one. I shut everything off and inject less than 1cc per aiptasia. And I leave it off for about 30 min. Sometimes it will tuck away before you can get him. It's a trial and error thing. Mix the bottle real good, sometimes from sitting it will go dry and need a little water.

FWIW I've sen my share of Aiptasia and that looks like one but I can't see it well enough to be sure. I would like to see better pictures if possible before we start dosing it with chemicals. Just my two cents.
Aiptasia is easy to treat best to be sure.
