good hang on protein skimmer

    How come you want to use a HOB Skimmer. 100 is kinda big for a hang-on IMO

    i have had nothing but trouble trying to set up a sump u see my tank dosent have any holes and the over flow box i had sucked.... im thinking on mounting a tank above it maybee idk

    Well for me the drains was trial and error. My last drillded tank was scraped due to a bulkhead cracking. so latley I made custome drains and use overflow boxs with hose clamps at every fitting. I learnded lots of tricks setting up to prevent water messes. Tell me more about what you have so I can help.

    Red Sea Berlin Classic HOB this can also be used as insump aswell

    Sea clones are absolute junk.
    I got my octopus for under $150 and its rated to 110 gallons... ;)

    But honestly I would wait till you get the sump figured out. You will be much happier in the long run having it down there.

    what do you guys think about a Red Sea Prizm Pro Deluxe Hang-on Protein Skimmer some guy is selling one for 100$ are these junk ther reports are bad on it so i wonder

    Oh God no, don't get the prizm. I have not had one, but I have heard people %$#$% about their's enough. Get the sump figured out and do it right. For a 100g tank you need a sump anyway IMHO. Then you can get a skimmer that is more suited for the tank.
