I have a odyessa 4 bulb t5 light on my 40 breeder for the last year and I am very happy with it. I am starting a 75 gallon reef. I was thinking about this LED light. Any thoughts?

It it the same when compared to the marineland reef light.

Sure, that'd be fine; assuming you have a fish only tank.

That won't support most corals in a 75gal.

The Marineland "reef capable" lights are a bit of an oxymoron; search around here and you'll see what people think about them.

You'll want to look at something a bit more proven in the LED world; but this will also be considerably more expensive than what you set your sights on.

I guess I'll be using another t5 light. I have a MH to use, but decided the high electric bill is not worth it
