Not sure what it is and been unsuccessful google searching it. Do I need to get rid of it and if so, should I boil water and use a turkey baster to it?

    Thank you!

Those are aiptasia, a pest anemone. Boiled water or lemon juice will cause them to shrivel up and die. You can theen remove therm from your tank.

Here are some I found at my LFS in one of their lagoon tanks. They were giant.

Here, you can get a better idea of the actual size. That's my hand to the left...

    You're welcome.

Don't worry; you'll find other cool things along the way.

Holy-cow those are huge!! Were they trying to sell them or something?

Plus 1 those are glass anemones - pests.

I sure hope not. lol. The quality and care of their livestock has definitely gone down since I was their last time. Those two pictures were taken last weekend; I hadn't been in their in a while. There was a lot of algae in their 180 reef tank too. I don't understand why they would just let it get so bad. It was possibly a change in management, though I did not care to ask.

That was Pet Supplies Plus, but the one I go to (or used to go to, as of now) used to have pretty good livestock (fish and corals) and somewhat knowledgeable staff.
