Good or bad crab?

    found this little guy in an acro I bought today managed to get him out with a little shrimp convincing lol. is he good or bad? about 1cm across not one claw is larger the the other
    not sure If i should banish it to the sump or put him back in the acro to hide lol
    He is not hairy, but smooth, sharp claws, and a pinkish coloration
    sorry the pictures not fabulous, still figuring out the dslr

    Hard to tell, but it is most likely an acro crab and they are good for the acro they are in. I would replace it and keep track to see what it does.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    +1. Acropora crabs are cool and an extra bonus IMO. I would put him back and just watch him. They do not go far from their favorite acropora.

    Cool thanks guys, I shall call him Jim guardian of Acroporia ;) p.s. I know its acropora that just sounded better :D

    Nice find, and actually acroporia is correct in latin because of the possesive noun :p

    this is his "Crib"
    Green Acro with purple tips and green Polyps
    can quite get the color for what it is, but the frag is about 4-5" tall and 3" wide and 5-6" long so its more of a small colony a good score for $60 IMO

    Thanks very happy with this one, I think its the nicest stick in the tank ATM.
