    Good advice guys, I also have a sony cyber shot and been having problems getting a good pic of my tank inhabitants.

    Another trick is to use the timer on it once you get your setting good. Even the slightest push of the button can move the camera. There is a guy on here named Poseidon that is a Photography Expert as well.

    my white balance is on auto i was just running my actinics thats why it is more blue lookin

    Picked up a polarizer for my d60 tonight. Will see how it works out, should reduce glare from glass, sand, etc. :)

    Anyone else here have a Nikon D60 SLR? I can take excellent pics of anything in the tank - except when I get back aways, and the sand is included. The glare from the sand sucks - even with the Polarizer / UV Combo. Just curious what you have the ISO / shutter speed / aperture set to.
