Anyone know a good online place to buy pods to feed a mandarin? I am getting one tomorrow and want to make sure I have more on hand to feed with!

    Thanks!

There are plenty of online sites out there but before you buy check with your lfs if they will order the pods for you it may save you alot on the shipping. I saved about $20 even though the price I paid for the pods was about $10 more than the cheapest online price.

you have a fuge, so what i would do is buy a few balls of chaeto and cycle them from the display to fuge. leave one ball in DT and cover with live rock rubble then switch the balls as you feel necessary. the tank will be loaded in no time

yup, thats what I'm planning on doing. I was going to build a little live rock rumble igloo and shove some chaeto in there so the fishes cant get to it, and do a rotation with the other chaeto in the sump every week.

When you buy pods online, practice the same caution you would any other fish you buy, quarantine your bag. I bought a bag o' pods before and the refugium kit also had a few isopods hidden in the pieces of rubble rock and filter floss that are always included in these kits. If I didn't quarantine and observe the bag first and just tossed it all in my fuge, my fish would have been in some bad trouble.
