So my few frags that I purchased of mushrooms are doing amazing and its only been a few days! Fully opened and are very colorful in my tank! (will post pics tomorrow:)) And Im looking at purchasing some Ricordea's... My lfs said they could try to get them in but they would be about 30$ a frag,, which basicly is the same price as liveaquaria, and the driving distance to the store isnt so hot. lol. ANYways, Is there any good sites online to order coral from at decent prices...

Trying to get a judgement of possibly where to look for these guys!

A couple of 3reef sponsors have some very nice ricordea. Try Morgan at reefgardener.net or Colin at coralmorphologic.com

I've ordered from Vividaquariums a few times with very good results. They now have a WYSIWYG section.

    Newbie 2 Ricordea

Have established 29 gal Euro Reef tank with Xenia, mushrooms, carpet anem, 4 inch maroon clown, watchman gobie, african somethin, 1 orange and 1 green ricordea, star polyps, purple tip anem. All parameters perfect! So here's my question, I am so so new to the Ricordea! I have placed them low in the tank (bought them a week ago) How do I know when they are fully open? They are 1 inch frags sitting shaded on a rock.

I've never ordered from Colin before, but I hear tell that he adds an extra frag from time to time too. That's a nice little perk if you ask me.
