I was in a quest to find answers about MH lighting and better understand what I need. I also wated to be able to check out the visual bulb differences without having to buy them and compare over my own tank, or trek to fellow reef-keepers houses to check out thier bulbs (still a great option, but its a lot of driving!)

I found these links super-helpful and thought I would pass the info. along for those of you who havent seen them yet.

 

thats a good link... but keep in mind that for those pictures, each bulb will look slightly different depending on the ballast used; A more noticeable difference between mag and electronic ballasts.
