Good RO/DI Unit?

So Im thinking about ordering the BRS 4 stage RO/DI 75gpd unit.

Its pretty cheap at $130.00 and Im wondering if anyone has any experience with this unit?

The Spectrapure RO/DI for $129 is the best there is in that price range. The others mentioned do not specially treat and test their RO membranes to increase their performance, do not use the much better absolute rated sediment filters in 1 micron or smaller sizes so they actually protect the carbon block which is their sole purpose and do not custom blend every ounce of their DI resins in house based on tens of thousands of hours of testing so they last the longest and work the best. They are also one of the few who includes an inline pressure gauge in their lower end systems and to use a capillary tube flow restrictor your yourself can adjust for an exact waste ratio. There really is a difference!

Don't fall for the old ebay trick aboust "stages". More is not better. Pay attention to what each stage contains not how many there are. For a good reef quality RO/DI 4 good properly designed stages outperforms 5 or more mediocre stages every time.

Personally I owned a Typhoon III and sold it for a Spectrapure and my DI life went from 150 gallons per cartridge to 830 measured gallons on the first DI and its been over 1000 gallons ever since, no comparison whatsoever.
