My wife wants to get a school of fish in my 240 gallon reef tank. You can see what fish I have in my signature below. She mentioned blue / green chromis but I want something a little different than that. Anyone have a suggestion?

All anthias will school. Beautiful fish, get along with everything and 100% reef safe. Only down side is that they are finicky eaters at first, and tend to want to be fed more than once a day. Will train to eat everything over time. They are my favorite fish in my tank.

Bangaii will tend to stay in the shadows.

I just picked up 4 Lyretail (Squampinnis Anthias), 3 female and one male. They are very nice and you can see them from across the room. The wife may also like Purple Queen Anthias.

As far as schoolers go I have those four Anthias and 10 chromis in a 110. Try a combo of both, Chromis are cheap!

Don't tempt her or I will have them. I have told her they are to common as I want to have a few different fish. She loves the bright yellow.
