Good size fish

    I have a 55 gallon tank with about 20 pounds of live rock and a canister filter for a hundred gallon tank and it is working wonders I was wondering what type of fish I could put in my tank that have some size?;D

    It depends on what your ultimate goal is? reef style tank? fish only? ssmall friendly fish? predators?

    probably the best thing to do is hit live aquaria, see what catches your interest & come back to ask a more refined question.

    Is it going to be a reef? If not i would say a niger trigger. Or a marine betta.

    It is a tank with some scattered rock I have been on live aquaria for years but I can't decide I want a tank with 4-5 small peAcful fish and maybe 3-4 large sized good temperament fish

    Thats kinda alot of fish, plus large and "good tempermant" usually dont mix.

    You'll most likely need more rock, as well. Most fish tend to be more peaceful with each other when each one has it's own "safety spot" to run to in the event they do feel threatened. Otherwise, you may end up with a tank for territorial wars. (I've even experienced 2 - 3 small fish tag-teaming against a much larger peaceful species).

    1 Auriga or Bandit Butterflyfish
    Note; the butterflyies are not strictly reef safe
    All good beginner fish, swimmy, peaceful
