concrete is starting to hurt more now days, the water is a little more forgiving most of the time, maybe some day I'll learn how to stop falling all the time

"Shoulder high barrels" gives me the impression that you are standing up? I grew up on the beach in SoCal and preferred bodyboarding shore break just for the fact that you get to wear fins. I can surf, I just feel like I get the crap kicked out of me just paddling out. Hard work and cold.

I always joke with my buddies about how good my balance is. It's considered taboo to see me fall.:hehe: It just never happens in an average walking around sense. At 37, I get pretty beat up when I get after it skating. I fall occasionally but it's pretty minimal. I have a trip planned to SoCal for a skateboarding trip in a couple of weeks and expect to come home limping for sure ;D

Seems like there is way more white shark activity in the pacific ocean these days anyways:-X
