good words for the sea cucumber

    The sea cucumber you put into your tank is going to poop too. It's going to be a much smaller cucumber and 99% of their poop is going to be freshly cleaned sand. After a couple of hours of being poop-like, it's just sand.

    +1. They aren't yellow either they are the same color as the sand, and within 1 hour it falls apart. Also it looks more like little sand pellets than long lines like that cucumber.

    Say, I am fighting on and off brown algae issues that are not going away.... Do you think until i can get enough funds for a skimmer/RODI unit, a sea cucumber will help with the algae on the sand bed? I already have a large cleanup crew. I am just worried about the tank being nuked.......

    would say it will definatly help you just need to cuke proof your tank cover up intakes to your pumps pretty much thats probably the only thing thats gonna mke it spew up its guts i have a mp40 it climbs on that seems to be fine

    They split in two? I had two cucumbers and really liked them.they didnt hurt my tank anywhere near what I did.I was using one of those junk floating hydrometer/thermometers and my salinity got so high it killed everything in the tank,even the coralline couldnt live in it.Weird thing is I have an engineer Goby that lived through it.
