Goodby 3reef!!!

Don't get me wrong, OS 10 is a great OS. For surfing the inter net, e-mail and stuff like that they are great, I do I.T. stuff on the side with my brother, I have my MCSE and if it wasn't for windows we would be out of business!(Windows is the worst OS ever.) Pc's just support way more software, you can use 3rd party hardware, not just apple stuff like the Mac. And they are more powerful.

 

Sometimes the more flexible something is the easier it breaks, hence windows, trying to satisfy soo many uses, apps, hardware etc. My brother has been a mac user for years but has always done a duel boot so he can use windows apps as well.

Personally I don't think the extra Mac expense is necessary and have always used windows based machines and have had very few issues , but then again I've been using and repairing PC's for over 20 years.

Also when you have the Greatest % of the PC Market in Windows PC's(about 90%) you tend to be a big target for all those hackers writing viruses out there that tend to foul so many PC's up. Who wants to write viruses for Macs, heck they only make up about 9% of the PC Market share. You just wait pretty soon Mac users will have to contend with viruses/adware/spysware just like us PC users do, at some point it will be worth it for the criminals to start really looking into the MAC OS and finding its flaws to exploit.

Anyone remember the good old days before the INTERNET when your computer always ran well because the only way to put anything on it was for you to install it? , when you didn't have to wonder how that icon got on your desktop, or why's my computer suddenly crashing or not booting properly?, or where did that antivirus program come from, I though I had Avg installed not Antivirus 360, hmmmm......

im glad to be back man. And you didnt say anything about macs or pcs! i praise you for that. this computer is sweet and hope to update my show off your fish tank thread soon. Trust me, i didnt anticipate on it taking that short but i just talked my mom into it last minute

When its raining outside I prefer a Mac
when I want to look outside without opening a door - I use Windows
