I'm still going strong and it is getting a little easier by the day. The bad thing is I have to smell it all day as my company lets people smoke inside the building. But all is well.

    That's truly messed up.

Here in Florida, you can't smoke anywhere inside.

I know in California, they take it a step further. You can't smoke inside, and you have to be at least 15 feet from an exit to smoke outside too.

I'm happy these laws are passed. After you've quit, and decided not to kill yourself--you start to appreciate those laws that move in the same direction as you.

I'm an electrician, and I'm often in incomplete construction scenarios, where the roof is up, the floor and walls are in place, but the A/C isn't yet running, and some old-timers chain smoke in cramped quarters all day long.

I'm sure Tangster knows what I'm talking about . . .but it gets rough sometimes.

Anyways. . . all you newly-quit smokers, KEEP AT IT!!! NICE WORK!!

    :)

The laws here are the same no smoking inside but this is a private company I work for and no public allowed inside and I guess they can do what they want. I used to think it was great but now that I don't smoke it sucks.

Good going you guys! I was out of town this weekend selling some corals at a frag swap, I'm glad to hear you all made it through while I was gone. ;] The ricordia are getting fatter, I'll have to take some updated pics in a week or two.

That sucks that they smoke inside where you work Scenario, I guess everyone that works there must smoke. We all give you extra props for putting up with that and staying smoke free. Nothing like stale cigarette smell all day, yuck.

Here's another thing you guys can do to boost your moral. You should put all the money you're saving on cigarettes in a jar and then when this competition's over open it up and treat yourself to something sweet. ;] I can't imagine smoking 2-4 packs per day, that's gotta add up to some serious dough.

Heck you may even save on laundry detergent because your clothes won't smell as much. ;p

Lmao that is soooooo true, i was cleaning my garage the other day and ive been smoke free for a little over 2 months and i found a few work shirts that REEEKED of stale smoke, OMG it smelled sooo bad.

But let me tell you guys it does get easier and easier as time passes, even those stressful situations that i used to turn to cigs for, now i just take a few deep breaths and ENJOY the fresh air:thumb_up:
