I used the patch to quit. It works. The temptation was always there to not run the full program--I think it was 6 weeks. The patches decrease in potency as you're weaned off. I stuck with it and kept buying them as the accompanying paperwork recommended.

Stick with it, you'll prevail! :)

I uesd patches also and it took a few months to quit. I didnt quit smoking for a few weeks of the pathes. It did really cut down on how much I smoked, I weened myself off smokes with the patch on. Everyone has a different method. I had eaten wint o greens, cause it gave me the menthol. My wife started backup after a few weeks. Now I need to get on the bowflex. LOL thats another thread.

I soooo need to quit, AGAIN. But I feel as though moving this saltwater tank is going to cause me major stress and I'll quit next week before summer starts, haha.

Anyways good luck, I'll be in your boat soon!!!!!

It will be 4 weeks this Thursday for me. What a time to quit smoking. I either need work to start piling in or a nice ice cold beer and a smoke.

Good job to all of you who have quit.

By the way, the dreams that come with wearing the patch...too cool.

Congrats on quitting..... Keep with it, I have been tobacco free for almost 8 months. And the dreams . Mine were all violent type dreams. Couple of good ones though.

Yeah, the dreams. Vivid, realistic, intense. Sometimes violent. Always bizarre.

When I tried the patch they were down right intolerable, sleeping fell hard out of my priority.

Congrats to everyone who has quit. My dad is currently in late-state lung cancer and even with that quitting has been rough.
