goood price for used halide?

Im looking for atemporary light for my new 225 til I get my led fixture finished.I found a hamilton 6 foot light with pc suplemented light.3 halides I forget if its 250watt or 400watt..selling price is 370.he says bulbs r 6 mknths old and he's includinng 2 brand new bulbs

 

for that price it shoudl be 400's. I would recommend 400's for that deep of a tank.

 

If just temporary it should be fine, I wouldn't worry about the 250 vs. 400w. Seems like a pretty good price to me.

 

Turns out theyr 175 ... im only keeping lps ns some softies. Probly use it for 6 months or so.seems alittle high in price to me but if u guys say differently ill take ur word for it.

 

the proce is a bit high IMO, but with only lps and softies you should be alright... again, IMO.

 

If you're getting two new bulbs, that's worth at least $100 and then $270 for the fixture for 3 lights isn't bad at all IMO, as long as it comes with ballasts. If you think the price is high, just offer a lower price.

 

Yeah I sed 300 bc this is a temp fixture nd iill b selling it again soon enough.nd he came back with 370.
