    I would call it a dead crab.:-X

    It looks just like the ones bothering a friends tank. In that tank they have eaten several bigger acan colonies and other corals. I am not a crab expert, so I will follow along to see what the real ID is.

    Personally, I don't bother with the exact ID's of stuff that is not reef safe. There are so many cool reeef safe things out there to keep track of.
