    but still this is behavior i wouldnt expect from a lion even when the power was just turned on

    true they are always calm at the LFS.

    When you have kept them for as long as I have, you begin to recognize patterns as the years and different species roll by. There are a lot of stories like mine out there. Two such cases is what prompted me to post the "alert". This isn't an odd occurance when considering their fin span and hunting style. If a fly lands on the water service, mine will be all over it..... all over the floor that is when they leap just a little too far.

    Mine were in different tanks a (55 and a 65) and one was a smaller species in a 28g. One definately jumped from being chased and the others were alone. The other two scorps where is a 30g and a 25g, they weren't lions.

    That's a grow out tank in the video, not their permanent home nor the tank any of them jumped from.

    ya i guess i dont hav emuch experience with them ive only had about 6 in all of my tank put together
