    had a good day ,got a yellow sun coral $25,black sun coral $25,1 duncan $20 ,all in all not a bad day. pic are after acclimation

    Nice looking coral, I tried the yellow sun coral once and didn't have much luck with it. Also have a Duncan that is doing great took a little while but new heads started popping up like crazy.

    well the black one opens but the yellow will not,moved them just now to a darker spot ,maybe this will help.any advice

    Wait around an hour after the lights go out, and with the flow off, spot feed it very small particle food until it learns to eat, then go to bigger foods like mysis. If it doesn't show a feeding response, sprinkle a little food on it and wait a bit. I start out finicky corals with Reef Chili or Nutramar Ova. My Yellow and the Black Suns will eat anything now, even Fauna Marin LPS food.

    BTW, the Yellow doesn't look so good. It has a lot of receded flesh. If you work at getting it to feed, it will grow back quickly.
