Just had to post this. I got a hydor koralia #1. It is awesome. The flow in my tank is amazing. These PH's are worth the buck. I will be getting another one of these.

Awsome powerhead. Not sure if I would make the switch. I have 2 Rio 8HF that branch into 2 heads each...Can you do this with these powerheads?

They dont have a traditional outlet, so Im thinking no. My buddy has one and loves it.

There would be no point in directing flow with a koralia because it is already designed to spread the flow over a large area instead of letting it stream out in one direction.

All this talk about these new powerheads! I may pick up a pair for my 46 gallon. That may be a bit too much movement though.. we'll see.. I like the way they look, but maybe too big for a 46 gallon.

I plan eventually switching everything over to seio's. Thats what the maxijet mods are trying to recreate. But for the price of the maxi and the mod/doing the work, its cheaper to buy a SEIO and it comes with a warranty where the mod voids maxijets warranty.
