    Ok so I got this

    NextReef MR1 Media Reactor

And it is HUGE! And I got this to put in it.

    Seachem PhosGuard

    And

    Seachem Denitrate

Ok so my issue is the phosphate stuff says to put it in there for four days and idk how much it says to put in there i can check later, and it also says when the desired level is down take it out and it really doesnt say "if not" and i was wondering if i can just leave it in there so the phos. doesn't come back. And the nitrate stuff says pretty much to put half of the 1L jug in the reactor at once. So im wondering if anybody has this media because my reactor dosen't seemed filled up because I took the advice to start out with small dosings and see what happens. Ok i know i really need a testing kit(s) and i havent tested my water. Can I just leave the stuff in there until it looks exhausted or what? and i was wondering how and if i can layer it with other media like carbon, kalkasser(spelling).:confused::confused::confused: Oh and ask alll the questions you want! haha;D

    Thanks,

In a reef tank, It would be better to use GFO (Granulated Ferric Oxide) instead of the Seachem Phosguard. It is aluminum based and can leach phosphate back in the water. Where GFO binds it up permanantly. Some GFO is Phosban, Rowaphos, Pura-Phoslock, and I think Bulk reef supply sells it in bulk...No pun..

Ok, thanks I will have to look into that. I had the phosban but it is so expensive and it really only gives you one use. But thanks!
