I actually got her a month ago but I've been low on time and never have been able to get a good picture of her, though I did get a good video. My gf and I have named her Stacy and she's the last edition to this tank.

Yes, I know there is a lot of hair algae in there. I've already turned the rocks upside down and have been more frequently changing the water (with distilled).

Anyways, she's only an inch if that. When I put her in, she scared the crap out of our clown (Alex). He was swimming around a rock and doing his thing and all of a sudden he noticed her staring back at him about 2 inches away. She's half his size but he still literally flung backwards about 3-4" or so. He slowly came back and examined her and now mostly ignores her.

Now our green spotted puffer (Ralph) is more of the curious type. As soon as he spotted her from the other side of the tank he darted at her full speed to have a look. This of course frightened her and she hid in the rock. Ralph stared for a while and then got bored and swam away. We were pretty mad at Ralph because after 15 minutes she had started to come out and now he scared her into the rock. It took a full day of Ralph doing this to her before she finally realized he wasn't going to harm her (Ralph has always been fascinated with new fish when in freshwater. He always liked to stare at them for a while, but he's never slammed into or nipped at them).

Now they all get along fine. Stacy is eating very well and seems to love the rock work. Until 2 days ago she used to hide from us when we first went up to the tank, but now she's gotten used to us. If I stand on the left side of the tank, I have all 3 fish swimming within a couple inches of each other looking back at me.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
She certainly looks like a healthy busy wrasse, searching and searching.

The puffer is too cute. Your fish are certainly not camera shy.:)

    Thanks for sharing.

Awesome! I can't wait to get a six line wrasse! I really like how it looks. By the way, isn't the green spotted puffer from brackish water? I think that eventually they need to be in saltwater completely.

Originally they are in freshwater, which is where they are caught as babies. They go downstream as they get older (you are right, they will die young if in fresh). A study has shown they can only spawn in full saltwater though so it would be my guess that a female somehow gets impregnated in ocean waters and then goes into freshwater to lay the fertilized eggs? No one has seen a gsp in full saltwater before though (that we know of at least).

But yeah we bought Ralph when he was half an inch or so in freshwater and when he was an 1-1.5 inches we just converted him to saltwater in a day.

EDIT: Also, some sixline can be territorial to new fish. Just a warning. Fish are individuals though. I had a freshwater platy that was the new fish and she picked on all of the 5 corys and 4 glofish in a whole 37 gallon tank.
