got mantis number 6, and dont know what species, HELP

    looked through roys list, but dont think i saw it, its got a dark green body, with pink legs and swimmerets, and meral spot is white with a black spot in the middle, any ideas, will try and get picture later

    Where'd you get the mantis? That can help track down what species he is. Also, how you got him will help. Was he a hitchhiker, bought from a store, etc etc.

    If you know the origin, and you can get a good picture (high resolution and not blurry) of the telson I may be able to help you out. IS it a smasher or spearer?

    Are you sure the meral spot is black and not a dark purple with a white ring around it?

    I have the whole manual for the pacific and just the smashers of western atlantic (although that one is rather outdated)

    she has a nature very different from any of my other mantis shrimp, shes very scared acting, but she did destroy a snail the first day so im sure shes fine
