Is it bad that the first thing I thought was that arowana is way to big for that tank?

For a 22" Arowana that tank actually doesn't look too bad. For a fully grown one (about 3.5 feet), LiveAquaria suggests a minimum of 250 gallons. So I'd say that's close enough to the right size. Alot of freshwater fish don't need to move and roam like saltwater fish (tangs specifically)

The thing couldn't even turn around easily. I would say that is a 125. You can't just go on gallons. Dimensions are more important. We have a 200 gallon at the store that an arowana would be fine in. We have another 210 that the arowana would be screwed in.
