It seems like to much for my converted fuge in the back of my 29g biocube. Do I need to let it have room to grow, I got the media basket/fuge set up from InTank and the chaeto I recieved takes up the whole space, is that to much in there??

it can grow in tight spaces, it will just become more dense... you may have to trim it more often is all...

i agree, mine seemed to grow more dense when it was packed in my fuge. I trimmed it back and it continues to grow back. I'd give it a little trim job as it grows at a rapid rate with nutrients and a good light source.

    +1 on above posts

I would also remove it periodically and give it a rinse in a bucket of old tank water at water change time, as densely packed Chaeto can trap detritus
so thinned out slightly is good IMO
