So, when I got my lighting upgrated I got a few easy SPS corals. 2 green and pink with purple polyps birdsnests, a pink birdsnest, a green poccillopora, a pink poccillopora, and a green monti digi. They were doing so great with the new lighting! When I got the digi it was almost all browned out... Now it is a brilliant green with 3 new branches growing at the base and it has now encrusted off the edge of the plug and onto the rock its on. The birdsnests polyps have trippled in numbers and are white tipped with all new growth. The green poccillopora was pretty much bleached out when I got it and the base skeleton is turning more and more pink with green flourescent polyps. So, I figured I would give an acro a shot! The thing is that the LFS has so many different kinds they didn't know the names of all of them. I chose one that has a pink/tan skeleton with bright green polyps. The only thing is that a couple of the branches are dying and going white, a couple are already dead, but I still really like the color of the alive parts, so I got it anyway for really cheap! Maybe it will make a come back like my other SPS did. This is my first acro and I hear they are a little harder to care for than other SPS. I'll post pics of it tomorrow.

I hope it turns around for you as well. If not, you can most likely frag the live part off and save it. I look forward to seeing the pics lol. :)

Yea, I hope so too. When I look at it I just get this feeling that is has browned out and that it is actually suppose to be more colorful than it looks. I think I am feeling a little full of myself though thinking that I can bring an acro back like I did with the digitata lol. I will be posting a pic of it to see if anyone can ID it. I have yet found out what it is. Still looking lol
