What size tank? I hear lots of good reviews about firefish. Tangs are awesome too but need a pretty large tank.

I think this is an incorrect statement and this is why: Tangs need a ton of oxygen to survive. Most of them live in very turbid water and open ocean so they can swim at high rates of speed getting more water over their gills. In most, I say MOST, 54 gallon and other smaller tanks, there's just not enough surface area for good oxygen exchange. The size of the fish doesn't matter in the least bit here. I can get a blue tang the size of a small damsel but I still wouldn't put that in a corner tank of this size. This is just me.

Royal Grammas are awesome. I have one, he spends a lot of time going through the tunnels in the live rock though (out of sight). Easily one of the best swimmers around, very fast, agile and able to stop on a dime. Downside is they may eat your ornamental shrimp. I solved this problem by getting one smaller than my shrimp.

Fire fish are also pretty cool. Not quite as awesome as the royal gramma, but smaller with less of an impact on the bioload.
