Well i don't really have any extra money to be spending on coral but I need something for the tank, the 3 snails and 2 clowns just isn't enough for the tank. I went to the fish store and got a frogspawn, I pretty sure it is but I don't know till you guys tell me. well after the guy spent 3 mins getting it to close up, I got it. now its in the tank close up still, if he opens(which I hope he does) I will post a photo.

I love frogspawns! is it a purple tipped one? Just make sure you keep an eye on it for the first couple of days, which Im sure won't be hard. They can get brown jelly disease if injured in transit. But even if it does get that, it is easily curable if caught early, just dip in iodine. (don't mean to worry you, they are fairly hardy corals) Good luck with, Im sure you won't be able to stop stocking your tank.

Frogspawn was my second coral. Xenia was my first. Mine, in three months, has grown about 30%. They grow pretty well under optimal conditions. And my conditions are not optimal.......yet. Have fun with it. However, just know, the tenticles will sting other corals, so don't let it get too close.

Well here is the best picture I think I will be able to get. I guess he is fully open now, but in the dealers tank, he looked much bigger, guess because the plexiglass was 1.5in thick. Is there anything special I need to do to him? additives or what not?

I could be wrong, but this does not look like Frogspawn. Frogspawn has more of a bubble look to it.. Maybe there is different kinds???
