What type of media do everyone use in there IM gonna have atleast 3 of the compartments with different types of carbon. Any suggestion with the other compartments? By the way my tank is still cyclying. been up since 2/9/08.

I use the bottom basket for mechanical filtration (filter floss and micro pads), In the second compartment I have chemical filtration (Phosban and carbon) Then in the top compartments I suggest biological filtration. You should check out Seachem's Bio media called Matrix. Fits nice in canisters and works great.

    Check out Excellent Nitrate Media
