Well everyone I got my mantis and he is acclimated to the tank and seems to be enjoying it.

I got my mantis from tampa bay saltwater, as well as two pounds of rock. The rocks I got are simply awesome! When they say live rock they mean live rock. There is barnacles all over them and over living things.

    Without further ado the pictures:

(I am going to move the air stone, just not quite sure what to do with it now... it floats.

One of the rocks I got from TBS. Most of those barnacles are alive. Awesome rock. I put it right up front so I can see it good.

Another rock i got. Appears to be a sponge on there. also awesome rock.

He is a Neogonodactylus Wennerae (I actually memorized that I didn't have to look up the spelling lol). Common name is a Caribbean Rock Mantis.

The tank is a 10 gal with 12 pounds of live rock, and 10 pounds of live sand. It is not attached to my other tank.

Sorry I didn't get any other pictures while acclimating. I posted all the ones I have taken thus far. He is still hiding a lot.

I named him Mr. Kane Fister. He reminded me of the Miami hurricanes colors and I happened to pass a Kane's furniture at exactly the same time.

I got him from Live Rock - Tampa Bay Saltwater Aquacultured Live Rock He is about 1.25" right now but will get up to about 3 inches.

I like how you lined the bottom of the tank with reinforcement glass or acrylic. Will help when the mantis gets older and happens to hit the glass with his club.
