Yes, you do have to get some pics up, you can't keep us in the dark like this. Sorry to hear about your possible mantis problem. Fortunately I've been lucky and haven't had a hitch hiking one yet, keeping my fingers crossed. You could always try a trap to catch yours.

I'd go with the trap idea. I was told to use club soda - even to dunk the entire rock in it. I was told that it wouldn't hurt anything it'd just make it uncomfortable for the mantis (I wanted to keep him for a specimen tank). I ended up pouring it on the rock where the mantis was hiding behind some hitchhiking coral and got nothing. I put the rock back into the tank only to have every invert as well as the coral that it touched die. Please try and trap it before using club soda.

i've been spying on the tank for the last few nights pretty hardcore, i hear clicks every once in a while but cant see anything. this thing is a freaking ninja. i'm going to have to try that x-terminator thing. i have to remove my cleaner shrimp first because i know he's going to get his stupid self caught in there.

alright, alright. i can FINALLY prove that i did, in fact, get these corals... well, just the duncans. the monti is long dead and out with the trash but these duncans more than make up for that.

at 8 bucks a head (not counting the freebie head) these suckers might be the best bang for my buck in my tank. the color sucks on my camera so you have to believe me that these things are GREEN. they are huge as well, i should have stuck my finger in for a reference.

ok, i saw that little bugger last night! i was trying to find my mandarin in the dark, dont ask, when i saw a shadowy flash near the rock i think he lives in. if my poor eyesight and even poorer lighting conditions can be trusted he's only like maybe 2 inches and ninja fast.

i really dont have any clue how to get this guy so i've decided that i'm cool with him. he only eats a snail or crab a week (how has he not starved?) and now, instead of getting anxious, i can here his clicking and be like "aww, thats little (fill in the name later) tap tap tapping away." and plus, i want to be cool like Jwin and Shackmel (formerly, RIP Bob) and say that i keep a mantis.

Nice duncans!! Your mantis might only be eating a snail or a crab a week for now, but as it grows I would expect those causalities to steadily increase.
